Official Partners

Budget Direct

Auto & General, and its flagship brand Budget Direct, are a major partner of Act for Kids. Their team works hard to make a real difference to the lives of children, and supports Act for Kids’ vision of all kids having a safe and happy childhood.

Since our partnership began more than 10 years ago, Auto & General have funded more than 19,190 therapy hours to help more than 1,900 children overcome their trauma.

Auto & General fundraises through corporate events – such as their Annual Golf Day, Kids Christmas Party, End of Year Party, and sporting events – and staff activities including fitness challenges, bake sales and fancy dress days. Staff are encouraged to use their annual paid volunteer day to support Act for Kids.

Flannery Foundation

The Flannery Foundation is a proud supporter of Act for Kids and provides valuable funds to help Act for Kids prevent and treat child abuse and neglect.

QCoal Foundation

QCoal Foundation is proud to partner with Act for Kids to deliver Re-ACT CQ, an impactful program delivering much needed outreach therapy services in Central Queensland. Aligned with the mission to strengthen regional and remote communities, this three-year social venture partnership between QCoal Foundation and Act for Kids aims to create positive lasting change and bright futures for Queensland kids.

7 News Brisbane

7 News Brisbane has supported Act for Kids since 1991, serving on our board, providing media services and pro bono support.

Channel 7 Queensland

Channel 7 Queensland proudly supports Act for Kids by providing their media services to share our important messages with the community.

Queensland Government

The Queensland Government assist with funding for a number of our programs that help children and families who are at risk or who have experienced trauma from abuse and neglect.

Subway

Subway Australia has supported Act for Kids since 2010, and help to raise vital funds which help us to maintain and expand our programs to reach out to more kids and families in need.

Daniel Morcombe Foundation

Act for Kids runs Walk Tall on the Sunshine Coast, in partnership with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Walk Tall provides counselling and emotional support to children, adolescents and their families who have been impacted by a crime or are at risk of abuse or neglect.

Mercedes-Benz Brisbane

Mercedes-Benz Brisbane has supported Act for Kids since 2009, providing funds for Integrated Therapy Services to treat children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

Wilson Foundation

The Wilson Foundation enabled Act for Kids to open its first Integrated Therapy Service in New South Wales in 2015 at Blacktown in Sydney, initially committing to fund the service for three years. In 2018, they committed a further two years of funding for the program.

The Bryan Foundation has been a major supporter of Act for Kids since 2009, contributing funds towards therapy for hundreds of children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
